  14. I started registering as a child, but I am the child's parent?

When you initially attempted to register using a child's birth date, your computer received a temporary Internet cookie (a simple text file) identifying you as a child. This is not done to inconvenience you or to violate your privacy, but to ensure that young children do not attempt to register as adults once they realize that there will be some limited restrictions on their account should they register as kids. To register as an adult, you will have to end your current Internet browser session by closing your browser. This should automatically delete the cookie on your system and allow you to register as an adult once you start a new browser session. If you still encounter this same problem, you will need to delete the cookie manually. First, you need to use your computer's "Find" function to locate a folder named "Cookies." Then open the folder and delete any cookies ending in "@disney.com" or "@go.com."

The True Friends feature allows you to chat with your real-life friends on Disney.com. If you are 13 and above, you can enable the True Friends feature by logging in to Your Account, accepting the Terms of Use (if you didn't do so during registration), and clicking on Enable Community Settings. However, if you are under 18 and your parent has already enabled Parental Controls, you will need your parent to modify your settings.

    • Limited True Friends means that parental approval is required before a True Friend Code is given or accepted. This is recommended for children who are new to chatting online.
    • Unlimited True Friends allows members to generate and accept True Friend Codes without parental approval. This is recommended for anyone who understands how to make friends safely online.

  10. What is a "True Friend Code"? How do I get and use a "True Friend Code"?

A True Friend Code is used in the True Friends feature to let you chat freely with your real-life friends. Once the True Friends feature is enabled, you can request a True Friend Code from the Friends panel in the upper right corner of the Disney Xtreme Digitalsm (Disney XD) screen. Click on the "Open Friend Maker" button to open a panel that will offer you the chance to either get a new True Friend Code, or to type in a True Friend Code from someone else. A True Friend Code is a temporary computer-generated code word that is assigned to you and to you alone. Each time you get a True Friend Code, a new random code will be assigned to you. Tell this True Friend Code to your real-life friend outside of the game. When your friend logs into Disney XD and enters the True Friend Code, the two of you will be marked as "True Friends." and you will be able to chat with each other. Your friend only has 48 hours to enter your True Friend Code. If he or she doesn't enter it in that time, it goes away, and you will have to get another one. But once you become true friends, you'll stay that way unless one of you decides to break the friendship. Each True Friend Code can only be entered by one real-life friend, and then it goes away. If you want to become True Friends with multiple people, you should get several True Friend Codes--one for each friend.

You can easily add up to 300 friends to your list or remove any friend from your list at any time.

  6. I love Mickey and Minnie. Could they act as Best Man and Maid of Honor at our wedding?

We're sorry, but our famous Disney Characters are not available to participate in the wedding ceremony in any way. However, they'd be delighted to attend your reception to mingle with guests, pose for unforgettable photographs, "cut in" on the first dance, and even help you cut the cake. Character appearances are available in 30-minute increments and count toward your minimum Custom Wedding expenditure. For more information on wedding and honeymoon packages at our Parks and Resorts, please visit our Disney Weddings home page.

Your guests may stay wherever they please. However, in order to make it easy and affordable for them to attend your special Disney event, we are pleased to offer the lowest room rates available throughout our Resorts. Based on your estimated number of guests, you must guarantee a minimum number of room nights at our Resorts. Your Disney Wedding Sales Manager will be happy to discuss these minimums in detail to ensure your comfort level. 11. What makes a Disney wedding unique?

The real "magic" surrounding a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding (or any wedding, for that matter) is the reunion of family and friends in such a special environment -- creating cherished memories that will last forever! However, many of our couples incorporate special touches that reflect the location or "theme" -- for a Cinderella wedding, many choose a wedding cake with a white chocolate castle as the topper ... or serve dessert in a white chocolate Cinderella slipper filled with mousse on a castle-design plate. Music can be used as a key element to set the tone or carry out the theme -- many of our couples choose classic Disney love songs for their first dance or ceremony music!
